In May 2021, Popchev Stone Design LTD started the implementation of the project "Increased competitiveness through greener production" with the financial support of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, within the program "Business Development, Innovation and SMEs in Bulgaria".
 The project will be implemented within 18 months in Vratsa, Bulgaria.  The value of the entire project is 510,000.00 euros, of which the amount of the grant is 300,000 euros.
 During the past period, the contractors were selected to carry out the project activities.  The planned production equipment has been delivered, installed and put into operation at the base in Vratsa.  The project is to provide employment activities for one person, as well as information and publicity activities.
 The project aims to increase the competitiveness of "Popchev Stone Design" LTD. through the introduction of innovative green technology for utilization of residual from its own production of rock and cladding material.  In this way the company will achieve optimized production, increased capacity and a positive effect on the environment.
